I just wanted to thank you for producing Tutor Vision - volume 2! It's
rare in this business to find a product that does more than it claims -
and at a price that everyone can afford. I learned more about how bones
work in 30 minute than I had been able to learn from numerous books on
my own. It really helps to see what someone's doing while hearing them
explain why they're doing it. Keep up the good work - I can't wait for
the next cd!

I just received the TutorVision CD vol2 a couple days ago and wanted to
compliment you on the quality of the content you provide. There are a bunch
of good tips on boning--some things I've been scratching my head over for a
while. Plus it's always so much clearer to see techniques described in
realtime as opposed to print.
. . . . .
I especially liked the way you modelled the eyeballs and the hammer with
the character then boned them back into place. I never would have gotten
that idea and would have spent hours trying to keyframe them together as
seperate objects. Lots of potential there, now that the lightbulb has come
on over my head :-).

I recently purchased TV3D v2 from Dave Warner. I've been working thru
the tutorials & I would highly reccommend them to anyone afraid of
or frustrated with bones. Dave does a great job of explaining how you
should set up your character to work correctly with bones & metamation.
There is alot of great information on these 2 CDs & they are worth
much more than Dave is charging. If you're a beginner at LW,or someone
who hasn't tried characters but always wanted to, get these CDs, they're
a great help.
A friend of mine purchased TutorVision Volume 2 by David Warner. I got a
chance to look at it and would like to recommend it as an EXCELLENT
tutorial on how to create a character for bones and metamation, with
spheres of influence on the bones, how to create a walk cycle, etc. As
usual, David's tutorials are thorough, and the CD is packed with
information. This CD combined with Mark Thompson's 'Advanced Character
Modelling' tape, Susan Ishida's 'Lightwave Lab' tapes, and David Lombardi's
'Organic Modeling and Animation' tape should get anyone up and running in
modeling and animating characters in Lightwave- with bones and
Puppetmaster.

Here, Here!! I bought them just last week and even though I am familiar
with alot of what David covers in them I still think they are KICK ASS!
He did an excellent job as always. Any Lightwave animator interested in
building a firm foundation for character animation (especially newbies)
should pick it up. It is a steal at $50.00. I would like to say thanks
give David a well deserved pat on the back. I can't wait for Volume 3:
Killer Hypervoxels in three easy steps!
