Beachfront uses almost no image maps. For example the truck uses
no image maps. All of it was accomplished using the rust shader
which has also been used (almost) everywhere else. The only other
plugins used were the Pontari Fresnel Shader, Steamer and qemLOSS
to tame those metanurb patches.
The background was created in Bryce 2. The image was put together
in layers to keep the polygon count down and test render times
manageable. The final image was touched up in PhotoShop and a slight
grain added. The woman in the foreground started life off as a Poser
2 model. I was on vacation for a bit so I decided to model all the
meshes from scratch.
