"The Dreamer of R'lyeh"

My name is Mike Foster (fosterhome@att.net),I live near Seattle, Wa. At
present I'm a full time student, looking forward to a career in digital
media.

I call this image "The Dreamer of R'lyeh" in reference and tribute
to the works and mythos created by H.P. Lovecraft. As I rememember, the
malevolent , eldritch terror named Cthulu lies imprisoned beneath the
sea in the ancient city of R'lyeh, "dead but dreaming" awaiting the end
of the Aeon when it shall awaken. (It's been 25 years since I read most
of his works, but the stories still occasionally niggle and nibble
during that state between dreams and wakefulness.) All portions of the
image were created with Lightwave 5.6, using tens of thousands of
polygons, a few hypervoxels and just a touch of steamer in the
background.
