"Fox One"
This image is entitled Fox One, the radio call as a radar guided missle
is fired. The F-14 was modeled from plan drawings I got off the
internet, which were also used as the basis for diffusion maps. The
AIM-120 AMRAAM missle's exhaust is three lens flares and a fractal noise
mapped polygon, blurred in Photoshop. The background was rendered in
Terragen, which for a .6 beta release is pretty impressive, with
Gaussian blur applied in PS. The shadow under the F-14's wing was also
adjusted for brightness/contrast. For the stickler's for detail out
there, the F-14 currently can't fire AMRAAM's but the D model will be
able to do so after it's software is updated.
