"Winter Disaster"

I tried to show on this image a competitor falling down during his presentation. Most of the time we watch these people doing great on their "shows", but since nobody is perfect...

I spent a lot of time modelling the body. It was completely done with splines. I liked the result very, very much, since it was the first time I ever worked with spline patches!

I had a hard time setting a good depth of field setting. After many trials I ended up going to photoshop and using Gaussian Blur on the whole picture. I know it was a bad solution, but what could I do!? :-)

It took me about an hour to render the image using enhanced low antialiasing on a Pentium 133 with 128MB RAM.
