Artist's Comments
As Farmer Bob gets the matches, MooSper, The Spirited Bovine, watches over his soon to be chared remains. As the 'Friendly Cow', he simply watches the butterfly and eats his grass, as he always did before that dreadful day.

MooSper was created using the LW cow and Surface Effectors. He has several bones to help him watch the butterfly.

The scene has over 500k polygons in it (mostly in the hay and wheat fields) and uses 10 image maps. Most image maps are stock from LW, however some were created in Photoshop. The cow and butterfly are standard issue LW objects, however all other objects were created by the author. The sky was done using the SkyTracer plugin.

Rendering time, on a P200 MMX, 64M of RAM, was 4 hr, 16 minutes (high anit-ailiased).

NOTE: My original idea was to have a not-so-freindly bovine, bar-b-queing a person, or another cow, however, this seemed a BIT too twisted..to enter into the contest.
